We offer workshops and training such as a trauma education class and workshops like “Helping Your Child Tell Their Story, The History of Adoption, or Through Our Eyes: Adoptee Perspectives on Adoption” so you can foster personal growth, deepen adoption competency, and center adoptee perspectives. Keep watch for these to go live on our website to participate.
We also offer a half-day training on adoption competency for clinicians to learn effective, attuned approaches for working with adoptees in therapy. Gain insight into the unique needs of adoptees across the lifespan, including common themes around identity, grief, attachment, and belonging. This training is designed for clinicians who want to offer more sensitive, informed, and empowering care to adoptees and their families.
