Apply for the Halo Program
The Halo Program is a 10-week intensive counseling program for foster and adoptive children and their families, ages 5-18. The program is designed to meet the emotional needs of the child in order to achieve healing from emotional trauma. Families reach a state of healing and no longer need access to further mental health services. (Halo Project website). Each intensive consists of one weekly family therapy session, one weekly Trauma Education Class (TEC) for parents, and one Kids Club (per age bracket).
Submit your request to receive an application to the Halo Program. Only six slots for six families are available per cohort so acceptance is on first come, for serve basis. Please submit two months prior to the Halo Program start date.
We are currently not taking clients for Halo, but plan to beginning January 2025.
