Resource List for Adoptees
We believe in building a bigger table of collaboration and community.
The Adoptee Collective is continually curating this list of resources, organizations, and books geared to adoptees as the primary client, and led by or created by other adoptees. Please share your own offerings and recommendations to be added to our list, as we create a central location for all adoptees to find the resources needed.
Inclusion on this list does not equate a particular endorsement from The Adoptee Collective. We review these recommendations as much as possible, and highly value your feedback to help guide this list and add to it for the good of all adoptees.

Heritage Events and Tours
These organizations utilize adoptees as Heritage Camp counselors, and gathers groups of adoptees for heritage tours with facilitators and mediators.
Heritage Camps for Children (age 4 - 6th grade)
Our camps focus on building relationships, learning about the culture, and having fun. For many families, heritage camp is an annual tradition and an important developmental step in an adoptee’s life. All family members are invited to attend our events.
Heritage Tours (recommended for preteens and up)
Our complete tour packages allow participants to experience the country, its culture, and people in a way they will never forget. Join other adoptees and adoptive families on the trip of a lifetime!
Support Groups
Pre-teen, Teen, and Virtual Groups
Peer support is so important for pre-teens and teenagers. Not feeling alone and having others to speak with that understand how they feel can create healing and a safe place to discuss identity topics. Dillon is growing our virtual support groups, to help allow different age groups the ability to connect while living in diverse locations.
